Bank Wardens
Shift pattern: Varied shifts available, including nights (5pm-9am), weekends, and shifts arranged on short notice
Pay: Day Rate: £13.72 / Night Rate £12.71
The role
We are recruiting for Bank Wardens to work at our beautiful 13-acre retirement community to provide a professional and supportive in-person service to our residents.
Looking for flexible, local work that fits around your life? We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our team on a casual basis – helping us out when we have a shift which needs to be covered.
This is a varied but highly responsible role and involves regularly interacting with our residents; conducting welfare checks; responding in line with procedures to emergencies such as accidents or fire alarms; walking the site; identifying and reporting or responding appropriately to health and safety issues; and ensuring that basic administrative records are kept.
The person
Whilst it may be advantageous, you do not need to have previous experience for this role. You might come from a transferable background — for example, having worked with vulnerable people in a caring or volunteer role, or having worked previously in a health or care service or been a nurse. Or you may have lived experience and a genuine passion for working with older people. What is important to us is that you have great communication skills and a professional approach; that you can work independently and build relationships with a team; and that you have some experience of following procedures and keeping records. Training will be provided.
