Accommodation

We provide sheltered housing apartments and leasehold bungalows in a supportive community environment located in Bencurtis Park.

We have a total of 143 self contained apartments in 3 apartment buildings – Sarjeant Court, Willis Court and Ashby Close. All buildings overlook the grounds of Bencurtis Park with many offering views of the surrounding countryside. The 143 apartments comprise 68 studio, 70 one bedroomed and 5 two bedroomed apartments. Two of the two bedroomed apartments in Ashby Close have been designed to meet the requirements of wheelchair users.

Studio apartments (for single people) come with a lounge incorporating a bed area, (lounge 11’ 8″ x 13’10″ Bed recess 9’10″ x 6’10″ approx.) and a large walk in store cupboard. There is a small entrance hall with a separate airing cupboard and cloakroom, with wash hand-basin, toilet and shower. Each studio apartment has its own kitchen.

One bedroom apartments (for couples only) have their own kitchen, lounge, bedroom and shower room.

Two bedroom apartments all have their own kitchen, lounge, 2 bedrooms and shower room. These are only offered to applicants who have a particular need such as the need to have a room for a live in carer.
