RGN STAFF NURSE

Full time & Part time with an excellent hourly rate of £18.50 ph you must be able to work flexible shift days and night cross the full weekly rolling rota to meet the needs of the home.

As a Nurse within our Nursing Home, you will use your leadership skills to make sure our residents get the highest quality care we are known for.

This is a hands-on clinical role that creates a safe and supportive environment for our residents with a range of needs. You’ll use your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions, from assessing the needs of a new resident to implementing safeguarding policies and administrating medicines in line with NMC regulations.

ABOUT YOU – To join us as a RGN Nurse, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration. Experience of setting up and updating care plans and include risk assessments, it is important that you have up-to-date knowledge on the most recent clinical practices. We’ll also look for an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

To lead your shift with support of our care assistants you will be a natural leader and problem solver who has worked with older people within a nursing home setting. You need to be dedicated, ambitious and resilient, you’ll have a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.

We have a vacancy for an experienced Care Assistant 

This is a full time vacancy and you must be flexible working to mixed shifts days, nights and weekends on a planned rolling rota to meet the needs of our home and its residents. We offer a highly competitive rate and excellent benefits.

We provide specialist nursing care for people with a wide range of medical needs such as the elderly, people suffering from dementia and those needing end of life care. Glebe Courts is an integral part of Glebe Housing Association’s housing, support and care complex in the grounds of Bencurtis Park.

We are looking for a dedicated, warm-hearted experienced Care Assistant to work in our care home. This incredibly special role will see you supporting the team in providing dedicated, expert care to residents of all ages and abilities.

That will mean everything from supporting with personal care, making beds to ensuring each of our residents has meaningful one-to-one time with a member of staff. Above all, you’ll perform any duty necessary to help our residents maintain not only their dignity, but also their independence and well-being.

A crucial part of the role will be implementing each resident person-centred care plan, by recording observations, including weight, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, nutrition, tissue viability and liquid intake. A willingness to learn and develop your skills in this area is essential, as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate for this role will have knowledge of caring for the elderly and vulnerable we will support you with ongoing training and development and you will complete and through induction program However as we cannot teach compassion you must posses this as this is an essential requirement for the role.

We are looking for experienced Care Assistants with a level 2 NVQ in Health and Social care or above, it would be advantageous to possessing a Grade ‘C’ or above in both GCSE English and Maths.

Graduate Finance Administration Officer

We are seeking a full time, bright and motivated Finance graduate to join our small finance team as finance administration officer.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the day to day posting and reconciling of transactions, invoicing and collecting rent and fees that are due each month. bad debts, prepayments, local authority payments and changes to property status are recorded, you will also be collating and analysing finance data.

In the wider business you will be a key partner to other departments; responding to queries and providing support / advice as required. This position gives you the opportunity to gain exposure to all sides of finance.

Glebe Housing Association provides sheltered and leasehold accommodation and related supports to older people enabling them to live independently within their community. This role is based within a small team at our Head Office in Bencurtis Park, West Wickham.

Our 202 units are also based within the same park. We are on the Kent/Bromley/Croydon borders with fast transport links to Central London.

Hospitality Assistant

We are recruiting for a full time Hospitality Assistants to work in our nursing home and across Glebe Housing Associations Bencurtis Park.

As a Hospitality Assistant you will provide excellent standards of hospitality services within our Domestic, Laundry and Catering at all times to maximise resident enjoyment of the home and its facilities

This positions will mean you will be working as part of a team on a rota in the various hospitality departments delivering the highest standards of service to our residents. Delivery of catering services to ensure a high quality residence experience is maintained at all times. Following all health and Safety, food safety legislation and CQC regulations. food handling etc. Please note we are a nursing home therefore provide these services across a the full 7 days of the week.

You will be fully inducted and provided with the necessary training to enable you to successfully work in each of these areas, you are required to be able to work flexible at all times to meet the needs of the home and its residents.
